Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

CardPilot is designed to compare credit cards without requiring sensitive identity information. The recommendation tool runs in the browser and uses approximate spending inputs supplied by the user.

Information you enter

When you use the recommendation tool, you may enter approximate monthly spending amounts, reward preferences, annual fee tolerance, and optional airline or hotel preferences. These inputs are used to estimate card rewards and are not required to include sensitive personal information.

Do not enter Social Security numbers, full credit card numbers, bank account numbers, passwords, dates of birth, government IDs, or other sensitive identity data. CardPilot does not require that information to provide educational recommendations.

Analytics, cookies, and advertising

CardPilot may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and Google AdSense to display clearly labeled advertising on approved public content pages. These services may receive standard usage signals such as page views, browser information, approximate location, device information, and ad interactions.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to CardPilot and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings. Third-party ad networks may also use cookies or similar technologies if applicable.

What CardPilot does not do

CardPilot does not require an account, does not ask for a credit pull, does not request your Social Security number, and does not need full identity information to compare cards. The tool is intended to use rough spending estimates, not sensitive financial records.

CardPilot does not sell user-entered calculator data to card issuers. If you click an issuer link, you leave CardPilot and interact with the issuer under that issuer's own terms and privacy policy.

Contact and updates
